Man in court over stab murder of woman on beach

A 20-year-old man has appeared in court after being charged with the murder of a woman who was knifed to death as she swam on a beach. Nasen Saadi, 25, of Croydon, south London, is also accused of attempted murder, and was remanded in custody after an appearance at Poole Magistrates’ Court. He will next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday. It took place at around 23:45 BST on 24 May on Durley Chine Beach in Bournemouth

Personal trainer Amie Gray, 34, from Poole — who reportedly died at the scene — and Leanne Miles, 38, who suffered serious stab wounds, also in Poole, were targeted by Bidstrup, the prosecution claimed. Miles was released from a hospital on Thursday.
