Job Application Process for Individuals with Disabilities

Application Pool and Evaluation: Your application will be included in a pool of qualified individuals with disabilities for review and referral to hiring officials. Qualifications for Schedule A Non-Competitive Hiring

To qualify for employment under the Schedule A non-competitive hiring authority, please submit:

  1. Disability Documentation: Proof of an intellectual, severe physical, or psychiatric disability. This is required to be considered for the Selective Placement Program.

Education Requirements

Evaluation Process

Your application, including required documentation and responses to the questionnaire, will be evaluated for job placement under the Selective Placement Program. Evaluations are based on your submitted documents and assessment of relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) as per the series and grade requirements. Final qualification determinations are based on the OPM General Schedule Qualifications Standards.

Interviews: If selected for an interview, you will be notified via email or phone. Interviews may be conducted via video if possible and are not mandatory for all candidates. Applicants may request accommodations for the interview process if needed.
