The PBX/Phone Operator role is based at the Deloitte Hotel & Conference Center, a private, high-end hotel and training center in Westlake, Texas. This exclusive property features:

  • 800 single-occupancy rooms, expanding to 1,400 in October 2025.
  • Three dining options, including a Starbucks.
  • 105,000 sq. ft. of meeting spaces, including ballrooms, amphitheaters, and classrooms.
  • On-site amenities like a fitness center, jogging trails, and sports fields.
  • Professional clientele only—no weddings or social events.

Job Overview

The PBX/Phone Operator Agent ensures smooth communication processes for guests and staff while providing assistance with check-ins, luggage management, and guest services. Weekend availability is required for this full-time role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Call Handling: Manage incoming/outgoing calls courteously and professionally.
  • Service Requests: Input and track maintenance service tickets.
  • Guest Assistance:
    • Provide accurate information about hotel services.
    • Create and organize guest name badges for group arrivals.
    • Support front desk check-ins and luggage distribution.
  • Maintain a positive and professional image in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous customer service or guest relations experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Personality: Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys interacting with people.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $17.35 per hour.
  • Holidays: Paid holidays starting immediately (10 per year).
  • Time Off: Up to 14 vacation and sick days annually; property is closed most holidays.
